Adecco is assisting a Printing company recruit for a Bindery Operator in Temecula, Ca. This Bindery Operator job will be responsible for setting up and operating bindery equipment such as saddle stitchers, cutters and folders. This role will require strong mechanical skills, attention to detail and the ability to be a team player. Bindery Operator job is a temp to hire opportunities! Responsibilities for Bindery Operator job includes but are not limited to: · Set up and fine-tune machine pockets to minimize drops and stoppages. · Adjust and monitor machine calipers to maintain product quality. · Set up, adjust, and repair stitcher heads to ensure smooth operation. · Change and adjust trimmer knives as needed. · Inspect and identify machine parts requiring replacement. · Set up, monitor, and maintain inkjet systems when applicable. · Continuously monitor product quality and make necessary machine adjustments. · Perform general maintenance and lubrication of machines. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bindery area. · Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage, ergonomics, and chemical hazard protocols. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date production charts and records. · Provide direction to machine crew during production and downtime. · Assist supervisors with evaluations and offer feedback when appropriate.
