Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Specialist to join our team! In this role you will play a crucial role in translating urban planning concepts into detailed and accurate digital representations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with urban planners and architects to develop detailed Building Information Models (BIM) and layouts for urban planning projects.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of authority approvals relevant to urban planning, such as DM, DDA, etc.
Create base maps, including sign-off sheets, plot development guidelines, and land use plans, by digitizing and organizing collected data.
Possess understanding of land use schedules.
Utilize software like AutoCAD to create and manage layouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Provide understanding in BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to optimize the efficiency of the urban planning design process.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to the Layouts / BIM models.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a BIM role within the Urban Planning or Architecture field.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.
