Job DescriptionWe are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented BIM Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various projects, ensuring efficient collaboration and optimal use of digital technologies in our construction endeavors.
Develop and implement BIM strategies aligned with project goals and industry standardsManage the configuration and administration of Common Data Environments (CDE) for projectsLead multidisciplinary BIM execution and delivery, ensuring seamless coordination among team membersOversee the production of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and related documentationConfigure and manage cloud collaboration tools to facilitate effective teamworkEstablish and maintain federated models, ensuring consistency and accuracy across disciplinesConduct regular audits of BIM models and report on BEP complianceCurate and manage BIM objects, families, and templates to maintain high-quality standardsImplement and administer digital quality assurance control proceduresProvide technical support, guidance, and training to project teams on data-integrated workflowsIntegrate Point Cloud surveys with Project Information Models for enhanced accuracyIncorporate 4D metadata into Project Information Models and produce simulations when requiredStay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry best practices, driving innovation within the organizationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, Construction Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of industry experience in BIM and Digital DeliveryProven experience as a multidisciplinary BIM Manager or CoordinatorComprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related industry BIM standardsProficiency in BIM software such as Civil3D, Revit, InfraWorks, OpenRoads, and OpenRailAdvanced skills in coordination tools like Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, or ACC Model CoordinationExperience in managing Common Data Environments (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise)Strong background in producing 3D and 2D model deliverables for various disciplinesWorking knowledge of visual programming (e.g., Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components, Grasshopper)Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional communication skillsDemonstrated experience in managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary projectsInternational experience working with global project teams, particularly in the Middle EastIn-depth understanding of technical design processes and construction knowledge for Transport and Civil Infrastructure disciplinesFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaExperience with BIM implementation in Middle Eastern construction projectsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyVisionary approach to implementing innovative BIM solutions and driving technological advancementsAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
