Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a BIM Manager to lead the digital design and coordination efforts for a flagship ultra-luxury development project. You’ll play a critical role in managing the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and workflows across all design disciplines, ensuring the project is delivered efficiently, collaboratively, and in line with the latest digital engineering practices.What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll develop and implement the project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure its adoption across all stakeholders.

You’ll manage model coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines, ensuring models are fully integrated and clash-free.

You’ll oversee the setup and maintenance of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure all model/data exchanges are properly controlled.

You’ll lead regular BIM coordination meetings and workshops, tracking design issues and ensuring resolution before IFC issuance.

You’ll ensure the correct level of detail (LOD), naming conventions, and model structure are maintained as per project and client requirements.

You’ll provide guidance, training, and support to project team members and consultants on BIM workflows and tools.

You’ll liaise with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives to ensure digital deliverables meet expectations.

You’ll support the integration of BIM with scheduling (4D), cost (5D), and asset data (6D) where applicable.

You’ll contribute to the overall digital strategy of the project, promoting innovation and best practices.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM coordination and management, with at least 5 years on major multidisciplinary projects.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360/ACC, and other relevant tools.

Deep understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650), model coordination workflows, and digital delivery practices.

Experience working in a consultant or PMC environment on large-scale developments.

Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BRE BIM Level 2, etc.) is preferred.

Experience in integrating BIM with other digital platforms (4D, 5D, GIS, etc.).

Knowledge of programming/scripting for BIM automation (Dynamo, Python, etc.) is an advantage.

Experience on Vision 2030 or Giga projects is highly desirable.
