Job Title: BIM DesignerJob Description
We are seeking a talented BIM Designer to assist in producing technology construction drawings using Revit. You will play a pivotal role in modeling construction plans, details, smart schedules, and parametric Revit families ranging from LOD 200 to 400.
Responsibilities
+ Produce technology construction drawings using Revit.
+ Model construction plans, details, smart schedules, and parametric Revit families (LOD 200-400).
+ Support low voltage design work.
+ Design physical security systems using Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and construction documentation.
+ Complete redlines handed off in Revit.
+ Place physical security systems within drawing sets.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit.
+ Experience supporting low voltage design work.
+ Experience designing physical security systems in Revit.
+ Experience with construction documentation.
+ 1-2 years minimum of Revit experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with data center projects is a plus.
+ Experience working with low-voltage systems.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with an 8-12 month assignment and the possibility for extension. The position is part-time, requiring 15-20 hours that can be completed off hours. Ideally, candidates should be available for 1 hour every day for coordination with the team, with touchpoints every 2-3 days. Independent work is expected, and candidates do not need to be local to Chicago. Candidates will connect remotely using their own laptops with Revit and Bluebeam systems, as equipment will not be provided. Training during the first week will be conducted to familiarize you with the Revit systems and families.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
