Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking talented and experienced BIM Technical professionals to join our office in Bogotá, Colombia. Candidates should have experience in modeling, coordination, and information management for MEP systems, preferably in fire detection and alarm networks, telecommunications, access control, and electronic security systems.
The ideal candidate will have a technical and methodological approach aligned with ISO 19650, focused on the correct structuring of models, information quality assurance, and interdisciplinary coordination.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Develop, update, and maintain BIM models of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with the required level of development (LOD) at each stage of the project.Perform technical coordination of MEP systems with architecture, structure, and complementary disciplines, ensuring early detection and resolution of interferences through BIM coordination flows.Ensure correct application of technical standards and regulations in BIM models and documentation, guaranteeing technical and regulatory compliance of the project.Generate technical documentation from BIM models, including plans, diagrams, equipment lists, measurements, and reports necessary for the proper development of the project.Support BIM quality control processes by reviewing models, validating deliverables, and ensuring consistency between the model, documentation, and customer requirements.Manage BIM model information in accordance with project requirements, the BIM Standard, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), applying the principles of ISO 19650 to ensure correct nomenclature, classification, and traceability of information.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
High School Diploma and 4+ years of technical experience participating in the comprehensive development of medium- and large-scale BIM projects.Competence in BIM tools for modeling and coordination, like Revit, Autocad, Navisworks, applied to collaborative workflows.Proficiency in BIM modeling and coordination tools such as Revit and Navisworks, applied within collaborative workflows.Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDE), collaborating with BIM Coordinators and BIM Managers in deliverable management, process standardization, and information flow optimization.Knowledge of BIM standards and regulations, including ISO 19650.English Level: B2.Additional InformationPreferred Requirements
Technical or professional education in engineering, architecture, or related fields, with verifiable training in BIM methodology.Final-year students of architecture or related engineering disciplines.Experience with OpenBuildings Designer, Civil 3D, Presto, Dynamo and Power BI.Advanced level of English, written and spoken.Additional Information
