Billing Supervisor

The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter. **Summary** Oversee the daily activities and operations of the Billing team, monitoring and reporting on productivity levels and work quality. Ensures seamless collaboration between the Billing team, Financial Shared Services, and field accounting support to maintain efficient and smooth operations. This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office location in Dallas, TX. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Supervise the billing team’s daily activities, providing guidance on workload prioritization, direction, and addressing inquiries. + Support the development and implementation of standardized processes and continuous improvements within the Billing department. + Manage billing clerks as direct reports, offering coaching and career development support, while organizing daily workflows to meet administrative needs. + Contribute to the creation of KPIs and performance metrics to prioritize and benchmark the Billing department’s effectiveness. + Assist in administering performance reviews for team members. + Ensure that service standards, volume targets, and efficiency requirements are consistently met. + Support leadership with hiring, training, employee relations, scheduling, and workload distribution. + Maximize the use of technology and resources in the central billing area to enhance productivity. + Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to resolve issues or customer disputes. + Create and maintain customer accounts within SAP S4, overseeing administrative updates as needed. + Prepare financial, statistical, and technical reports to ensure data accuracy and reliability. + Ensure accurate, timely, and complete customer billing, including handling complex invoices from multiple systems and departments. + Perform billing and variance analyses promptly and provide findings to customers. + Generate client-specific invoices within tight deadlines while adhering to productivity standards and compliance metrics. + Document and track customer account details, including purchase orders, discount reports, and rebates in alignment with company contracts. + Draft invoices and coordinate with sales and operations teams to confirm accuracy and approval before submitting through various payment portals; follow up with customers and account teams as necessary. + Coordinate with show site personnel, sales, clients, vendors, operations, and internal teams to compile accurate billing records and gather timely information for billing completeness. + Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Collections departments to reconcile client accounts. + Partner with Finance to support customer service requests, generate job cost reports, and analyze budget variances for sales and operations. + Perform all duties in accordance with Freeman’s policies, procedures, and regulations. + Assist with special projects, including automation and system integration initiatives, as assigned. + Participate in corporate initiatives focused on major systems automation and process improvements. + Perform additional duties as required. **Education & Experience** + Nine (9) years billing and/or AR experience. + Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year accredited college or university is required. + Three (3) years previous supervisory experience preferred. + Proven track record in developing and tracking department metrics. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to operate computerized accounting systems and ordering systems. + SAP experience. + System implementation experience. **What We Offer** Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
