Billing Specialist - Optical

Job Summary:

As a Billing Specialist, you will receive, review, trend, and work with staff members on monthly reports and communicate with the OM and trainer. 

You will coordinate the internal collections process to assure patient contact, set up payment plans and manage patients in collections. You will also manage credit accounts to include moving money.  

When patients call with billing questions, you will answer and document the calls. In this role, you will look for ways to reduce billing costs.

REQUIREMENTS 

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with business emphasis. 3-5 years of previous experience in specific specialty billing area

Broad knowledge of billing process and medical terminology
