Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Billing Specialist that researches and works various assigned tasks in the practice management software worklog queue. This includes charge corrections, research on received denials, appeal for payment, and follow-up on correspondence received. Tasks will be for all insurance plans received. Tasks are to be worked within the expected standard timeframe. Responsibilities: * Corrects claim errors found on the clearing house website * Makes necessary adjustments through the posting process as identified * Identifies and properly handles any refunds in practice management system * Assists with clinical office and patient calls when necessary * Completes all overflow work from Account Receivable Collectors in peak periods * Participates in insurance provider representative meetings if appropriate
