Billing Specialist
Job Title: Billing Specialist Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Billing Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes. You will work closely with internal teams, utilizing your skills in transactional accounting and electronic systems, to support our billing operations during our busiest season. Responsibilities + Conduct thorough cross-matching of billing data between various systems, identifying discrepancies and anomalies. + Collaborate with internal teams to gather and reconcile billing information from different sources. + Review sales tax codes to ensure accuracy on invoices. + Check pricing and enter information for orders. + Work within the OnBase workflow for specific customers, utilizing our electronic file cabinet. + Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams when needed. Essential Skills + 1+ year of transactional accounting experience. + 1+ year of experience working in electronic/automated systems. + Proficiency in coding invoices and handling billing and accounts payable. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's Degree in Accounting is preferred. + 1+ year of billing experience. Work Environment The role is based in a modern office in Mendota Heights with large workspaces. Standard work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start earlier or later. The team enjoys a nice culture with opportunities to take on more responsibility as skills develop. The company offers a flexible working environment, accommodating time-off requests. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
