Qualifications:
1+ year of experience of billing experience (construction billing preferred)
Experience with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
Experience in Sage100 preferred, but open to other ERP systems
Job Description:
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the billing processes for service jobs and scheduled maintenance agreements. You will ensure accuracy in invoicing and maintain organized billing records while collaborating with various teams to address any billing issues.
Responsibilities include:
Generate invoices for service jobs and scheduled maintenance agreements.Audit work orders, technician logs, and material records to confirm billing accuracy.Attach all necessary documentation to invoices before submission.Monitor preventive maintenance timelines and ensure prompt billing upon completion.Collaborate with service managers and coordinators to address any billing issues.Respond to customer questions about invoices and provide supporting documents as needed.Keep billing records organized and assist with monthly financial closeouts.Support the collections team in resolving outstanding billing concerns.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
