The Billing Representative assists the accounting department with processes related to customer billing.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Accurately maintain customer database
· Assist with billing inquiries and update customer billing information
· Assist with rent roll and auction process
· Communicate with occupants via phone or email regarding billing
· Process vacate and termination of accounts, send final bill for keys and unpaid balances
· Assist with transferring accounts, eviction and final notice
· Apply or refund security deposits or open credits, reverse and correct payments as necessary
· Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications:
· Data entry
· Answer customer inquiries
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1 -3 years’ experience with customer billing, preferred
· Fluency in Spanish
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required. Close visual acuity required to perform work at computer terminal. No exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping and feeling.
