Billing & Reporting Senior - Wealth Advisory - Madison, WI or Monticello, MN

About the role:

This role supports the billing and reporting operations process by invoicing clients, tracking and collecting payments, and ensuring that all invoices are error-free and paid in full. They update and maintain records, manage client accounts, and coordinate with the Finance team to evaluate client accounts. They act as a point of escalation for resolving billing discrepancies and also assist in month-end closings, reports, and annual financial audits.

Madison, WI or Monticello, MN.

Essential Job Functions:

Invoicing/Billing: Sends invoices to clients and tracks and collects client payments. Ensures that all invoices are error-free and paid in full.Client Account Management: Registers payments and sends correspondence to clients. Monitors client accounts to assist with billing issues and acts as an escalation point to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies. Takes appropriate collection action with delinquent accounts.Process Management: Ensures that the automated billing system is operated and maintained in a manner that efficiently produces accurate bills. Ensures accuracy of billing information, negotiated terms, and compliance with current applicable legislation. Recommends and enacts process improvements for efficiencies and error avoidance.Reporting: Prepares daily, monthly, and other periodic billing summary reports and financial statements. Processes month-end closings, reports, and annual financial audits.Mentorship/Training: Trains Associate team members and may act as a career coach and/or peer advisor to junior team members.

Requirements:

Experience:

•        2 years of relevant experience required.

Prior billing experience (invoicing, tracking, collecting payments) preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

The wage range for this position in Minnesota is: $57,000 – $84,000.

Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
