Billing Rep II

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the A/R Supervisor, the A/R Billing Rep II is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up with all payer types for all unpaid claims, consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.


Job Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) required3 years experience working in healthcare Revenue Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.Requires:Knowledge of physician billing regulationsUnderstanding of professional claims and billing proceduresKnowledge of Federal and State regulations applicable to Government and Insurance CollectionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of computers and demonstrated proficiency in using e-mail systems, Internet, and MS office software applications, with emphasis in Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office. 1 year experience with IDX Practice management system and Cerner EHR.AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.Knowledge of: physician billing regulationsm professional claims and billing procedures, and Google SuiteWhere You'll Work
