Billing Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of Billing Analysts and ensuring the effective execution of operational policies and procedures across Children of America childcare centers. This role supports the Operations Department and plays a critical role in driving accurate billing practices, reporting, and interdepartmental collaboration.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nSupervise and support Billing Analysts in all daily tasks, including review of reports, ledgers, and eligibility statements.\nMonitor workloads, ensure the timely submission of monthly claims, and verify accuracy of billing data.\nReview reports submitted by Billing Analysts for accuracy before distribution to district managers and corporate leadership.\nLead training on new processes, software, and improved task strategies.\nVerify timely and accurate updates to files and records using standard reports.\nAssist center and district managers with understanding billing procedures and software tools.\nSupport analysts in making billing adjustments for rate changes, credits, and errors.\nOversee supply ordering and tracking from vendors.\nAssist the Accounting Analyst with collection-related tasks.\nBuild strong relationships with center management to promote collaboration between field and corporate teams.\nFollow up with analysts to ensure understanding of responsibilities and deadlines.\nEnsure timely completion of all assigned tasks with a focus on quality and accuracy.\nWork closely with other departments to maintain accurate and timely information flow.\nUphold high standards of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.\nEnsure all operational activities align with the mission, values, and ethical standards of Children of America.\nRepresent and promote COA's mission, philosophy, and values to all stakeholders.\n\n

Qualifications and Skills\n\nBachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nAt least two years of experience leading a team of 3-5 direct reports (preferred but not required).\nProven success in the following competencies:\n\nAnalysis and Reporting\nBusiness Planning and Management\nCommunication and Presentation\nCustomer Focus and Relationship Building\nInfluencing and Leadership\nInformation and Technology Proficiency\nTeamwork\nProblem Solving and Decision-Making\n\n\n\n
