About this RolePAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking a Billing Manager to lead billing operations and help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing across the business. This role is responsible for overseeing the billing process, supporting internal controls, and partnering with operations, project teams, and finance to resolve issues and improve efficiency. The Billing Manager will also provide leadership to the billing team, promote accountability, and help develop processes that support strong service and operational performance.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000, based on experience
What You'll Do Lead and oversee day-to-day billing operations to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on timeSupervise, coach, and develop billing staff while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementReview billing transactions, customer requirements, and contract terms to help ensure compliance with company standards and project expectationsPartner with project managers, operations, accounting, and other internal teams to resolve billing issues, support collections, and improve billing accuracyMonitor billing schedules, workflows, and team performance to ensure deadlines are metReview and approve invoices, adjustments, and supporting documentation as neededHelp establish and maintain billing procedures, controls, and reporting tools to support efficient operationsIdentify process gaps, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance billing performanceSupport month-end close activities related to billing, revenue support, and reconciliationsAssist with customer inquiries, audit requests, and internal reporting needsMaintain billing records and documentation in accordance with company requirementsServe as a resource for escalated billing questions and help drive timely resolution What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred10+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related finance experiencePrior supervisory or team leadership experience requiredStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team membersExperience managing workflows, setting priorities, and driving results in a deadline-oriented environmentExperience workijng within large ERP systems, JD Edwards (JDE) preferredStrong understanding of billing processes, invoicing requirements, and internal controlsAbility to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with operations, project teams, and finance partnersSelf-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactivelyStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracyEffective communication skills, including the ability to handle issues professionally and provide clear directionProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systemsConstruction, project-based, or contract billing experience preferred What You'll GetBenefits
