Travel Billing Disputes Specialist
**Our client, a leading B2B travel agency, is seeking a highly skilled Billing Disputes Specialist with extensive experience in the hospitality industry and proficiency in Salesforce.** This short-term role (2-6 months) requires a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently resolve billing discrepancies and virtual credit card disputes while collaborating with hotel suppliers. **Job Title: Billing Disputes Specialist** **Location:** Remote **Pay Range:** $21/hr **Duration:** 2-6 month project **Schedule:** 8am to 5pm MT (10am to 7pm ET) **Key Responsibilities:** + Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and overcharges **from hotel suppliers** via email and phone. + Manage and resolve **virtual credit card (VCC) disputes** by working through a case queue. + Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and **hotel suppliers** to ensure accurate and timely resolution of disputes. + Analyze anomalies in billing and provide thoughtful resolutions that support financial accuracy. + Identify and recommend opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance team efficiency. **Required Qualifications:** + **Hotel industry experience is required** —The ideal applicants have worked in hotel billing, revenue management, or financial operations within the hospitality sector. **Candidates without hospitality experience (retail, insurance, healthcare) will not be considered. + **Strong Salesforce (CRM) expertise** —must be proficient in navigating and utilizing Salesforce for billing-related tasks. + Experience with investigating and resolving **virtual credit card (VCC) disputes** . + Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage suppliers and internal teams. + A quick learner ready to grasp systems, processes, and procedures. + Working knowledge of basic accounting principles. + Experience with Excel/Google Workspace. + Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality work.
