Description Billing & Collections Specialist Hybrid | Norwalk, CT $65,000–$70,000 base salary About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a growing, well-established manufacturing and distribution organization that’s in an active phase of expansion through recent acquisitions and organic growth. As the company continues to scale, they’re expanding their Norwalk-based accounting team and adding a Billing & Collections Specialist to support increased transaction volume and a more complex customer base. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business, working cross-functionally, and playing a key role in strengthening cash flow and billing operations during a period of growth. What You’ll Be Doing + Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time + Manage collections activities, including following up on past-due balances and resolving discrepancies + Research and resolve billing issues, short pays, chargebacks, and customer inquiries + Maintain accurate AR records and customer account information + Partner closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy + Assist with cash application and account reconciliations + Support month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivable + Help improve billing and collections processes as the company continues to scale Requirements What They’re Looking For + 2–5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections + Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environment preferred + Comfortable handling a high volume of invoices and customer accounts + Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers + Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem solver + Experience with ERP systems and Excel (intermediate level) Why This Role Stands Out + Join a company that’s actively growing and investing in its people + High visibility role with real impact on the business + Opportunity to grow with the organization as it continues to expand + Stable, collaborative accounting team with long-term career potential Interested?
