Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. This role involves reviewing and processing invoices accurately and promptly, maintaining billing records, and ensuring compliance with our billing procedures.
Responsibilities
Review and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain and update billing records and customer account information.Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.Assist with month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivable.Generate billing reports and support audits as needed.Support electronic billing systems and troubleshoot submission issues.Essential Skills
0-1+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounts payable.Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years of relevant experience.Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting or Business.Ability to work independently and manage tasks under deadlines.Work Environment
This position is onsite, requiring attendance 5 days a week in a more cubicle-style setting. You will be part of a family-owned company with a smaller, supportive team environment, where collaboration and teamwork are highly valued.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00/hr.
