Job Description

This position is dedicated to investigating and resolving complex customer billing issues. The role involves verifying resolutions, conducting thorough research, and processing related account information efficiently. You will be required to communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to ensure accurate and timely resolutions.

ResponsibilitiesReview and correct invoices to ensure accurate and timely billing.Compute and process adjustments to customer accounts.Work on various reports in the area and contact customers via letter or phone to resolve issues.Maintain various reports, account logs, and files for timely submission to supervisors and appropriate staff.Communicate with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner to ensure excellent customer service delivery.Perform collection calls and manage collections accounts receivable.Responsible for all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProven customer service skills.Experience in accounts receivable and collections.Strong background in billing and billing collections.Ability to perform invoicing and reconciliation tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the public utilities industry.Customer collections experience.Knowledge of CIS (Banner) software.Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be joining a team of 16 professionals currently working on billing exceptions. The company is currently engaged in a large project to implement and improve billing software.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
