***Billing Associate (Contract) - Interviews Happening This Week***

Location: Remote (U.S. based – CST, EST, or AZ time zones preferred)

Duration: July 14, 2025 – December 31, 2025 (potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $29.63 – $30.30/hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Associate to join our dynamic Billing Team within the broader Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Cash (ABC) organization. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for approximately 4,000 clients using both manual and automated processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Technology to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients, including manual billing for 300 clients and validation for 700 census-based accounts.Review and reconcile billing data using internal reports and tools.Respond to billing-related inquiries and service tickets from internal and external stakeholders.Maintain and update client account records and billing instructions.Process billing adjustments, credit memos, and invoice revisions.Upload invoices to Third Party Administrator (TPA) portals such as Ariba, Coupa, and Paymode-X.Collaborate with AR and Cash Management teams to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.4+ years of progressive experience in billing and invoicing.Strong understanding of general accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).Experience with enterprise accounting software (NetSuite preferred; others like SAP, Sage, QuickBooks acceptable).Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.Strong customer service orientation and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with NetSuite and/or Third Party Administrator platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Paymode-X).Hands-on Accounts Receivable experience.Exposure to data reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).Experience in fast-paced, lean billing teams within mid-to-large organizations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $53000.00/hr.
