Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing/AR Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing billing processes, accounts receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization’s financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: • Prepare and process customer invoices with precision, adhering to company policies and ensuring timely delivery. • Monitor accounts receivable balances, post payments, and maintain accurate customer account records. • Reconcile accounts at month-end, resolving discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. • Create and post journal entries while reviewing transactions for compliance with accounting standards. • Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to company policies. • Assist in preparing financial reports and conducting analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. Requirements • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. • At least 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting. • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Office Suite applications. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy. • Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively. • Clear and detail-oriented communication skills for interacting with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
