Job Description
We are seeking a Training Specialist to support safety and learning initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on delivering engaging training sessions, maintaining compliance, and partnering with supervisors to ensure workforce readiness. The ideal candidate is adaptable, tech-savvy, and comfortable presenting to diverse groups.
Responsibilities
Deliver training sessions for employees, including safety, compliance, and operational topics.Coordinate weekly training schedules with supervisors; conduct make-up sessions as needed (English-only and Spanish-only sessions).Utilize Alchemy training software for program delivery; provide alternative solutions if Alchemy experience is lacking.Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company standards.Travel to train with the Corporate Representative as part of onboarding.Support additional HR projects as assigned.Essential Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in training, safety, learning & development, or a related field. A teaching profile is also considered.Familiarity with Alchemy training platform and experience in food manufacturing (preferred).Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking to groups.Flexible schedule to accommodate early morning sessions.Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and customer-service orientation.Ability to contribute to compliance and operational excellence.Experience in HR and interest in growing within a supportive and forward-thinking team.Work Environment
This position is located in Chicago, IL, and operates in a plant environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with the possibility of starting as early as 5:30 AM for 3rd shift safety training. The role offers a professional, fast-paced environment where ideas and experiences are valued. This is a contract-to-hire role with a clear path to full-time employment after a 90-day probation period.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
