Voices College-Bound Language Academies is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to join their team in person with an ASAP start. This is a full-time position running Monday through Friday through the end of the current school year.

Responsibilities
+ Provide specialized academic instruction and support to students with IEPs.
+ Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with the IEP team.
+ Deliver services in English and Spanish to support dual-language learners.
+ Maintain compliant documentation, progress reports, and goal tracking.
+ Partner with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and school leadership to ensure inclusive learning environments.
+ Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and parent communication.
Qualifications
+ Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe).
+ Bilingual Spanish/English required.
+ Experience working with K–8 student populations preferred.
+ Strong communication, organizational skills, and commitment to equity and inclusion.
+ Ability to work onsite daily.

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
