Edison, a Help at Home Company, is hiring a Bilingual Recruiting Specialist!
This is an On-Site role Monday- Friday - 9am-5pm and the address is: 391 E. 149 Street, Bronx, NY 10455 Room 315.

Job Summary:

The Recruiting Specialist will develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers, source, interview, recap and communicate hiring decisions with hiring team. In addition, the Specialist will assist hiring, on-boarding, etc. of all Branch Operations staff positions across and communicate timely updates to the Recruiting Manager and other Hiring Managers accordingly.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.Meets and/or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bilingual in both Spanish and English (read, write, speak)Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.Professional communication and organization skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Valid driver's license.Access to insured and reliable transportation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.
