Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor
Description The Mortgage Loan Processor assists members and Mortgage Loan Originators with their Real Estate Loan Applications, by reviewing applications for accuracy and collecting necessary documentation for review by underwriting for final loan approval and to ensure a superior member experience. This role also backs up fellow Processing team members with pipeline management processing while they are out of the office. Job Duties: Reviewing income and asset documentation, credit reports, title reports, and appraisals, ensuring they are acceptable for credit union in-house and secondary market standards Submitting applications with supporting documentation to underwriting for approval timely to ensure closing and commitment deadlines are met Interacting professionally with internal and external members, originators, real estate agents, and outside third-party associated vendors to obtain necessary documentation Processing a variety of mortgage loan applications from home equity products, purchase, refinance, and construction transactions Assisting in backing up Processing teammates with pipeline management when they are out of the office Executing accurate Change in Circumstance and redisclosures timely per regulatory requirements Managing application workflow to ensure timely approvals and meet lock expiration dates Answering internal and external member phone calls, emails, and other communications Skills bilingual, loan processing, financial services, mortgage loan, banking, banking loan, processing loans, Finance Top Skills Details bilingual, loan processing, financial services, mortgage loan Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3+ years of similar or related experience + Knowledge of Secondary Market products + Ability to speak and translate fluent English and Spanish is required for this position + Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, understand potential issues, and steps to resolve + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products + Thorough knowledge of real estate loan processing, closing policies, procedures, documentation, and underwriting requirements. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
