Bilingual Manager, Data Governance (Spanish/English) Requisition ID: 233878 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **The Role** Contributes to the overall success of Customer Insights, Data & Analytics (CID&A) in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The function of a Manager, Data Governance is to review a domain’s data management activities, conduct data risk assessments, provide subject matter expertise, and drive continuous improvements to maintain strong data governance practices. **Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be involved in:** + Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank’s relationships, systems and knowledge. + Actively contributes to enhancements of the Bank’s data management program to ensure alignment with the Bank’s risk appetite, regulatory requirements and business opportunities. + Reviews data management activities completed by business domains to ensure a domain has successfully implemented their data management requirements. + Conducts data risk assessments through the NIRA and TPRM programs to ensure data risk is measured and suitable risk mitigation action plans are implemented. + Serves as a liaison between key stakeholders and the business line Chief Data Office teams for data governance activities. + Act as a subject matter expert to provide data governance support and guidance on the Bank’s data governance and data management program, tooling and procedures. + Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. + Advocate for a strong data governance culture within the organization by promoting best, training stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvements in data governance. **Dimensions** + The incumbent must be fluent in both Spanish and English + This role requires an understanding of data governance leading practices and strong knowledge of the Bank’s data policy and standards + Previous experience with using Jira and Confluence + Experienced with using complex Excel functions + Experience in data governance initiatives, policy and standards and providing guidance and support to business domains + Ability to exercise good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions + Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines + Ability to increase operating efficiency and produce high quality technical solutions + A high level of interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills necessary to relate to other people **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?
