Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources GeneralistJob Description Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist, where you will provide high-level administrative support to our HR/Executive Leadership Team. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling communication, and executing various administrative tasks. You will be responsible for recruiting for your own facility and coordinating HR policies and programs for plant operations employees. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be crucial in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Act as the point of contact between executives and stakeholders. + Handle incoming correspondence and sensitive information. + Recruit, interview, and select candidates; participate in job fairs. + Conduct employee investigations and assist leaders with performance management. + Partner with leadership and union representation on labor relations. + Conduct employee orientation and assist in designing onboarding programs. + Create and update job descriptions. + Manage the unemployment process. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. + Provide data and reporting for communications; ensure accurate record-keeping. + Understand deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. + Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment. + Bilingual in Spanish. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. + Knowledge of market-best HR practices and governing laws. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. + Ability to lead and influence. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in HR in manufacturing or food industry is nice to have. + Union experience is beneficial. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Self-starter, comfortable communicating across functional levels. Work Environment Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a daily 8:00 AM meeting. Expect to work 1-2 Saturdays a month, starting in 2026, as part of a rotation. Monthly town halls require your coordination and presence, with translation duties. You will have your own office within a team of six HR members, half of whom are bilingual. The majority of the workforce speaks Spanish, and you will occasionally assist with union matters. The environment fosters growth, with leadership invested in employee development.
