Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist The HR Generalist will provide high-level administrative support to the HR/Executive Leadership Team by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling communication, and executing various administrative tasks. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask efficiently. The HR Generalist will coordinate and execute HR policies and programs for plant operations employees, covering labor/union relations, wage and salary administration, orientation and training, employee benefits, and recruitment. Responsibilities + Act as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders via telephone, in person, and in writing. + Handle incoming correspondence and sensitive information while prioritizing actions. + Recruit, interview, and select candidates; participate in job fairs and other recruiting activities. + Conduct employee investigations and assist leaders with managing employee performance. + Partner with leadership and union representation on constructive labor relations. + Conduct employee orientation and assist in designing overall onboarding. + Create and update job descriptions. + Manage the unemployment process. + Ensure all federal, state, and local laws are followed in all HR practices. Essential Skills + 2-3 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment. + Bilingual in Spanish is required. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. + Knowledge of market-best HR practices and procedures, with an understanding of governing laws. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-starter. + Union experience is a nice-to-have. + HR generalist experience in manufacturing or food sectors is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
