Job DescriptionAECOM is on the hunt for a superstar Bilingual Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
This is a full-time position that can be based in either our Markham or Montreal offices with flexible work options. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage multiple early careers requisitions end-to-end—from market research and strategy development, to sourcing, engagement, assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage full life-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting offers, and onboardingAdvise hiring managers on recruitment strategies, hiring timelines, and sourcing trendsBuild and sustain partnerships with Canada’s top academic institutions and attract top talent through co-ops, internships, and new graduate rolesLead and participate in career fairs, networking events, and on-campus or virtual activationsCommunicate consistently and proactively with all stakeholders throughout the recruitment processLeverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance sourcing, improve job ads, automate workflows, and enable data-driven hiring decisionsCreate an exceptional experience for all candidates—selected or not—throughout every stage of the processQualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in talent scouting/recruiting or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProven experience with full-cycle campus or early careers recruitingBilingual: Fluency in English and French, both oral and writtenAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and project management skillsComfortable engaging with students, career services, and internal stakeholdersWillingness and ability to travel occasionally for campus events and recruitment initiativesPreferred Qualifications:
Experience recruiting for student and new graduate roles across CanadaKnowledge of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry is an assetUnderstanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices in early careers recruitmentStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with hiring managers, academic partners, and student groupsProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Workday, SmartRecruiters, or other ATS platforms is a plusExperience using AI-powered tools for sourcing, automation, or recruitment marketingCreativity in employer branding and engaging student talent across channelsAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
