\n\t\t\t\t\t•\tComply with all company’s Safety Policies, attend department and site safety meetings, participate in safety committees and programs (Near miss reporting, STAs, Workplace Exams, Pre-Shift Inspections, etc.)\n•\tResponsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching and customer relations.\n•\tMaintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system.\n•\tMonitor external factors such as weather and traffic to ensure optimized routing of resources.\n•\tResolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints.\n•\tProvide customer support to ensure maximum satisfaction.\n•\tEmploy problem solving techniques to resolve complex issues. \n•\tDevelop professional criteria of when to engage other parties.\n•\tHave positive attitude and strong communication skills with customers and other departments.\n•\tAble to successfully handle +100 calls in a shift.\n•\tAble to work in a team setting and achieve team and company goals.\n•\tAble to multi-task and complete daily workload in a timely fashion.\n•\tMaintain good working relationships with coworkers and outside agencies’ personnel.\n•\tWorks safely with a sense of urgency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
\n\t\t\t\t\t•\tMust have Associate’s degree or concrete dispatch experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.\n•\tLogistics experience of moving products from Point A to Point B\n•\tExcellent communication skills with professional decorum over the phone, as well as written.\n•\tEmbracement and enhancement of performance-based Safety Culture\n•\tStrong mathematical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively.\n•\tProblem Solving, Decision-Making, and Critical-Thinking skills.\n•\tAttention to detail, ability to stay organized and work independently.\n•\tAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong time management and strong organizational skills required.\n•\tProficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\n•\tMust be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual on Spanish is a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
