Job Description
Our Back Office Medical Assistants work directly with a Primary Care Medical Practitioner to assist in managing patient flow and daily schedules. Duties include patient rooming to efficiently meet daily appointment schedules, reviewing presenting issues, visit notes, history, orders, and updating appropriately within the EMR, performing vitals, and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.
Responsibilities

2-3 years related experience, preferably in a Primary Health Care setting.Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information; knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical record systems.Experience with medical refill, injections, etc.Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
