As a Bilingual Application Engineer, Building Automation, here at Honeywell, you'll be at the forefront of the success of our automated building control solutions. You'll play a crucial role by providing technical expertise and support to our clients, helping them design and implement automated control systems for buildings and contribute to the successful delivery of a new multi-million dollar project and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Lachine location on a Hybrid work schedule. + Design and implement building regulation systems including digital regulation system sequences, create regulation diagrams, and size valves and dampers. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for building automation projects. + Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders in the field of automated building controls. + Review project plans and specifications, collected information, sales sketches, estimates. + Program software algorithms for building automation systems. + Assist electricians and technicians on-site for installation and commissioning work. + Stay updated on trends and technologies in the automated building controls industry. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or technical diploma in automation (or another relevant field) + Fluently bilingual in French and English, written and spoken + Minimum of 2 years of experience in application engineering, specifically in the design of automated building controls/HVAC + Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD software **WE VALUE:** + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Good understanding of networking + Continuous learning and personal development in the field of automated building controls + Ability to act quickly and make decisions in the face of complexity and ambiguity + Ability to anticipate the information needs of diverse stakeholders and adapt communications accordingly to influence various groups and facilitate collaboration + Solid knowledge of Honeywell products and solutions for building automation + Creativity Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
