We need a motivated, experienced Business Intelligence Engineer who can develop a comprehensive strategy for acquiring, analyzing, and deriving metrics to assess primitive effectiveness and extract employee feedback insights to leadership. In this role, you will: • Identify critical metrics and establish essential analysis to measure the health, effectiveness and efficiency of the primitives developed by the team. Establish an ongoing mechanism to inspect the metrics and discover opportunities to improve them by working with the respective product managers. • Invent new ways to analyze data and leverage modeling to extract insights from employee feedback mechanisms. • Partner with Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Data Engineers and Software Engineers to design products and systems to transform and store data items using AWS technologies. • Create self-service solution to enable product managers and leaders for real time audit, present overall program impacts and facilitate decision making. Key job responsibilities Support AMX Applied Science team’s analytics through automated reporting, trend analysis, and process automation. Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab - Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Preferred Qualifications - Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift - Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
