Your New Role
Part of the Growth & Partner Marketing team and reporting into the Growth Marketing Manager, this role will play a key part in helping the team drive subscriber growth and revenues across our streaming services Max/HBO Max & Discovery+, TNT. This pan EMEA role will be responsible for executing the D2C Subscriber Acquisition creative strategy across all biddable marketing channels & streaming services including various operational tasks and liaising with multiple other teams critical to this.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about television, movies, entertainment, sport and digital marketing. They will have a good understanding of biddable marketing and creative processes. The candidate will be part of a team that believes in working fast, being accountable, collaborative, testing and learning from mistakes.
The candidate will be responsible for the creative production across paid acquisition channels, for multiple European territories. The role is highly cross functional and will require collaboration with other marketing teams such as Creative Services, Brand and Content Marketing, Local Marketing Teams, External Media Partners, Data Science, Product, Tech and Content Experience.
Your Role Accountabilities
Lead marketing campaigns in paid digital channels to drive brand awareness and subscriber acquisition.
Drive customer acquisition through the creation and optimization of digital creative assets for paid channels, ensuring that business goals are met.
Ensure all assets are delivered to central teams on time and manage expectations & help set up new workflows and working docs to support deliveries and performance.
Ensure relevancy in communication: the right message, format and creative for the relevant audience.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for D2C activities.
Analyse data and provide insights for optimization of digital marketing activities.
Ensure the best audience strategy is always in place and create ad-hoc materials for different audiences.
Work closely with other marketing departments such as Creative Services/Brand and Content/CRO/social media/CRM/PR to maximize growth through various projects including coordination on 360 marketing campaigns
Manage and evaluate performance of all digital marketing campaigns (creatives, sizes, formats) assess against business goals and constantly optimize performance by working closely with our digital marketing agencies.
Include digital creative trends and best practices in the on-going campaign’s plans.
Day to day tasks to include (but not limited to):
- Developing monthly biddable strategy plan together with Media Strategy team;
- Overseeing the sourcing of assets (images, videos, texts) across systems, - - - - Brief Creative Production teams (both Entertainment and Sports) on the creative assets for each campaign according to the overall content / brand strategy
- brief and approve the creative copy based on the campaign overall strategy
- obtain feedback (and implement it) plus approvals
- optimizing creative for specific audiences and media channels,
- creative testing -plan, brief and implement learnings
- deliver the final assets for each of the campaign to relevant teams for implementation
- manage any ad hoc request coming from agencies, implementation team, media teams or other relevant teams connected to the role
Skills and Experience Required
A Strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem is a must. 3+ years of international experience in digital marketing, working with channels such as Social, Display, YouTube, Search, Native and CTVs. Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically. Proficient in English. Additional European languages will be highly considered. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ability to work with content and creative teams to conceptualize and test creative. Draft hypotheses and design test structures to draw actionable opportunities for scale or efficiency. Experience in managing the relationship with digital media buying agencies and external vendors. Experience in working with an international and diverse team. Ability to work with various teams & partners and manage ad-hoc requests. Problems solving skills Strong project management experience, with ability to work and drive projects across departments. Excellence at prioritizing tasks and projects, by managing workload and requests efficiently. Agency experience highly preferred Experience working in a subscription business is preferred. Project management skills are preferred
