Responsibilities

As a Bid Excellence Manager at DHL Supply Chain India, you will will drive seller effectiveness and productivity by guiding business development teams through the pursuit phase, providing structure, process, best practice tools and strategies to enable the best chance of winning business. In addition to the development of high-quality, value-based, and customer-centric proposal and presentation deliverables, the role will support proactive opportunity planning, shape winning bid strategies, craft compelling stories using multiple delivery formats including but not limited to presentations, webpages, social media, videos etc, capture key learnings, and tailor best practices into repeatable processes, applying consistent standards of excellence to all pursuits. You will have end to end responsibility of creating, updating and managing sales content required throughout all phases of a B2B Sales cycle. You will also have responsibility to manage internal tools such as bid response creation platforms & upkeep & maintenance of our content hub regularly accessed by sales team members. You will closely collaboration with India Business Leader, Sector leaders & regional sales team members supporting them in their marquee account chases

Customer

\n\nSupport organizational growth objectives and achievement of Business Development performance targets by positioning teams to win and retain business.\nEnsure Voice of Customer is reflected across all proposal and presentation deliverables and maintain consistent application of customer focus principles.\nAnalyze RFPs and assess requirements, evaluation criteria, and key deliverables, and ensure compliance with customer requirements, including brand standards.\n\n

\n

Research & Planning

\n\nGather intelligence about the customer and the opportunity, conduct competitive analysis, and assess business fit.\nFacilitate value proposition sessions to identify key win themes along with opportunity owners and differentiators and define proposal strategy aligned with the overall pursuit strategy.\nAssess overall proposal effort and resource requirements and establish bid plan and schedule.\n\n

Management

\n\nOwn end-to-end process and ensure best practices and tools are consistently applied.\nManage the bid timeline, ensuring adherence to deadlines throughout the bid process.\nQuality assurance to ensure the highest quality deliverables aligned to Bid Excellence standards and timely submission.\n\n

Desired Skills and Experience

\n

To be successful in this position, we're looking for candidates with below qualifications:

\n\nMaster’s degree in Marketing\n5 - 6 years of experience directly related to bid management, sales content creation & content hub management\nExcellent command over English language\nTransportation and logistics industry or sector background will be a plus.\nStrong project management, able to handle multi-tasks with time management skills.\nExcellent communication skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft office applications & MS Sharepoint\nAbility to influence and negotiate at senior levels internally and externally.\nEstablishes clear, challenging, and achievable objectives.\nAligns resources and the organization within own area of responsibility to achieve objectives.\nRegularly reviews and communicates progress against objectives and adjusts as needed.\nChampions continuous improvement and innovation.\n\n
