Bid Coordinator

Position Overview The Bid Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, preparing, and submitting competitive proposals in response to client requests. This role serves as a central point of communication between sales, engineering, and operations teams, ensuring accurate, timely, and compelling bid packages that align with client requirements and company standards. Key Responsibilities + Manage the full bid lifecycle, including reviewing RFPs/RFQs, coordinating internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission of proposals. + Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to gather technical information, pricing, and project details. + Prepare, format, and finalize professional proposals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications. + Track bid opportunities, deadlines, and outcomes while maintaining organized documentation and reporting. + Support pricing strategy by assisting with cost estimates, bid comparisons, and proposal analysis. + Ensure all submissions meet quality standards, branding guidelines, and contractual requirements. + Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve gaps, clarify scope, and align deliverables. + Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and tools to increase efficiency and win rates. Qualifications + Experience in bid coordination, proposal management, or a related role in construction, engineering, or technical services. + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or proposal management tools is a plus. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical information and pricing data. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Columbia, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
