We boldly go. **Job Summary:** Trane in **Burnaby, BC** is seeking a Bid Coordinator to join the team. In this role you will provide a key role for assisting the Account Managers with entering, monitoring and managing of sales opportunities via the Trane CRM tool. Reception & Customer Service + Answering and directing calls Answering and directing calls to the office and tech support in courteous and timely manner using Teams Phone. + Greeting customers, service providers, and couriers as they enter office. + Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness. Administrative Responsibilities + Recording incoming cheques and couriering them to the lockbox. + Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. + Assist with Local EHS initiatives + Other administrative duties as assigned. External Marketing/Office Coordination + Assisting with the coordination of tradeshows and customer events; bookings, payments, promotions and ensuring teams have all materials required. + Assisting with the coordination of internal office events and golf sponsorships. + Collaborating on management of promotional materials, and sales literature, and assisting with ordering. (eg. Ductulators) + Managing Burnaby promotional items orders in collaboration with Sales Leader. **What you will bring:** + High School Diploma and 3 years of experience and/or training in the relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Advanced experience with Microsoft software suite and ability to learn other software. + Experience in reading plans/specifications, bills of materials, shop drawings, and installation, operation, and maintenance manuals is preferred. + Technical experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is preferred. + Experience with Salesforce is required. + Highly organized and meticulous in keeping the calendar and opportunity records up to date. + Excellent professional communication - both written and verbal. + Multi-tasking a must. + Working knowledge of office equipment and MS Office programs. + Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group environments. + Self-motivated and goal-oriented. + Organization and attention to detail will be a great driver for this position. **Compensation:** Base Pay Range: $69,200 - $88,000 Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Our compensation range is generally based on the national average for the country.
