Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Bid Coordinator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire bidding process, from initial opportunity identification to final submission. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions.

Manage and oversee the entire bid process, ensuring all deadlines are metCoordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, finance) to gather necessary information for bid packagesAnalyze bid requirements and create comprehensive bid schedulesPrepare, review, and edit bid documents to ensure accuracy and completenessLiaise with clients and partners to clarify bid specifications and requirementsMaintain and update the bid database, tracking all ongoing and completed bidsConduct post-bid analysis to identify areas for improvement in future submissionsAssist in developing bid strategies to increase win ratesEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the bidding process

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field3-5 years of experience in bid coordination or related field, preferably in the construction or engineering industriesProficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsData analysis and reporting skillsIn-depth knowledge of bidding processes and proceduresFamiliarity with contract law and procurement practicesUnderstanding of construction or engineering project lifecyclesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferredAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparationExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
