ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬.

We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub, then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies. Now we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities and 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐣-𝐍𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐚.

The Mission

The Business Intelligence team is responsible for data ingestion, data modelling, creating and maintaining various reports across different product lines like lending, transaction services or financial markets both for regulatory and non-regulatory purposes.

Your day to day

Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

Help our business teams to get more insights from data. How?collaborate with our colleagues from Data Lake who are sending us the data from the applicationsdo your thing and ingest that data with SSISmodel it and prepare it for reporting with SSASsmartly present it in Power BI or SSRS reportsMaintain the existing setup created by your illustrious predecessors:implement optimization mechanismspropose new ways in which data can be presentedhelp with migrations to newer software versionsAll the above should be done using Visual Studio & Azure DevOpsLet’s not forget about risk. Ensure that the data is properly used by enforcing risk rules that keep us safe.

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience: more than 10 yearsGood knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or higher, SSIS and SSASOLAP Modelling exposureExperience with data warehouse, data modelling and reportsExperience in reports presentation using Power BI or SSRSExperience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)Experience with pair programming and automated release managementAbility to translate business requirementsPassionate about data insightsExperience with Azure DevOps is considered a plus

Tech stack/ knowledge:

Mandatory: SQL Server 2019 or higher, SSIS 2019 or higher, SSAS 2019 or higher, SSRS 2019, Power BINice to have: Cloud knowledgeForeign languages: English (advanced)Education: nice to have bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT related field
