The BI Data Analyst is a key part of this mission and is accountable for the delivery and management of accounts data insights. TaDS BI team has been established to meet the overall account goals for data insights and align with client expectations by enabling data driven decisions.


Job Description Summary

The BI Data Analyst will be the owner of the APAC Smartsheet and Data Program processes. This role is designed for a business-savvy professional who can bridge the gap between complex operations and data-driven storytelling. Unlike traditional analyst roles, this position focuses on high-level data orchestration, visualization, and the tactical management of data-related projects rather than backend database engineering

Key Responsibilities include:

Regional Program & Project Ownership

Serve as the primary APAC lead for the Smartsheet environment and Data Program processes. You will contribute to the development and implementation of data-related project management strategies to ensure consistent delivery.

Visualization: 

Design and maintain sophisticated dashboards in Looker, translating regional business requirements into actionable visual insights.

Business Intelligence & Acumen: 

Collaborate with service line owners to understand their objectives and identify the "why" behind the data to support regional decision-making.

Data Source Orchestration: 

Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources (APIs, spreadsheets, forms) to ensure a "single source of truth" for the BI team.

Change Management & Adoption: 

Drive user adoption of BI tools through training, feedback loops, and the development of intuitive Smartsheet or Google Sheet forms.

Data Governance and Ownership:

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across diverse data sources by enforcing data governance policies and standards. Act as the owner of the TaDS Buganier component, which serves as the single source for bug and enhancement SLA information.

Team Collaboration: 

Work harmoniously with BI engineers and other team members to achieve optimal outcomes.


Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Strong skills of  Smartsheet architecture and Looker visualization tool

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics.

Fluency in English is essential.
