What You'll Do

Business Intelligence and Analytics Services Hub is an upcoming centralized global financial reporting and
analytics service team. This hub will greatly enhance how our management engage in information required to manage the business. Team is an integral part of the Global Finance organization, providing insights &
analysis supported by meaningful and accurate financial information to help guide and influence the decision making process. The team supports the leadership of our various business segments, senior finance management, local, regional & global finance colleagues across the organization.

As an Associate, you will be working closely with the lead as a thought partner for one or more business areas with a focus on bringing insights to light through data analysis. The Associate will be responsible for managing & delivering day to day standard/ad-hoc responsibilities related to financial reporting and analytics needs, using relevant data tools, reporting environment and dashboards for BCG. The Associate will spend significant time navigating finance data to support senior management decision making across the globe



What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or Economics
• 1 to 2 years of relevant finance experience
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills; written and oral
• Flexible to work across time zones
• Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a
professional services organization
• Good finance knowledge of financials statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.
• Advanced computer literacy
o Experience with and exposure to data analytics and business intelligence tools e.g. SAP
Business objects, Power BI, Tableau; advanced excel, building reports, and diagnosing issues
o Prefer experience with Oracle applications such as Oracle Financials, HFM, Hyperion
Planning



Who You'll Work With

As a member of the Business Intelligence Team, you will interact extensively with a diverse range of
stakeholders from across the business, both geographically and functionally. This includes, but is not limited to Local, Regional, Global, and Practice Area analysis teams, as well as, the overall Global finance organization.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Finance/ Technical Skills
• Good understanding of finance concepts, financial and non-financial metrics, and management/
financial reporting & analysis
• Experience with visualization & analytics tools (such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) and basic
proficiency in advanced excel

Problem solving and analytical tasks
• Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models and bring
clarity to previously undefined problems
• Desire and flexibility to work through big data sets with keen attention to accuracy and
interdependencies
• Comfortable working with ambiguity, complex and in an iterative environment
• Identify and support process improvement within the team or in cross functional initiatives

Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and changing situations with tact, poise, and patience

• Familiarity or willingness to work on Agile methodology will be a plus
