What You'll Do

Leading the research streams involving many senior internal stakeholders and external collaborators (PALs, EC members, HBS, WEF, MIT) ​​Driving the research portfolio for C&ET and setting the strategy for the team in terms of research streams and topics to pursue, external partnerships and collaborations to explore and partner on in developing content, and PA collaborations and teaming within BCG network​Having accountability on directly authoring and supporting the Fellows, Ambassadors and the Insights Leader on insightful, high-impact content; this could happen through various channels, such as publications, external journals / articles, podcasts, Ted Talks, etc.Having full accountability for all Ambassadors (mostly senior consultants up to Principal level) working in the C&ET team, overseeing all of their work and being the interface between the ambassadors and Maurice Berns / Niki Lang (BHI Global Leader​​)Lead the external relations – for example, senior BCG Clients to test, share and deepen BCG relationships and present findings from research, academic partnerships that the role needs to find and build relationships​​Collaborating with the PAs, Specialty Businesses, M&C function, etc.​​Turn research into commercial offerings for BCG by teaming with various BCG teams/functions to develop commercial agenda ​​Create a visible, external presence to increase BCG's SATT on climate & energy transition issues​​Deepen CEO relationships, and teaming with BCG CCOs to bring latest insights to clients​​As BHI 2030 evolves, this role could also take on additional research streams and portfolio management as regional and functional leadership teams are established

What You'll Bring

PhD or other comparable research and writing experience for 10+ years​Proven publishing track record and senior client credibility​Proven ability to translate research to practical client insights for commercial impact
