Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager who can own and deliver IT projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering and planning to execution, delivery, and post-implementation support. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on project management skills, and adherence to industry best practices across SDLC, governance, security, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple IT projects including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.

Drive project execution using best practices (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid as applicable).

Define project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Ensure timely delivery with clear tracking, reporting, and escalation mechanisms.

Manage vendors, system integrators, and third-party partners.

Stakeholder & Business Engagement

Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.

Conduct regular project reviews, steering committee updates, and status reporting.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Perform resource planning, performance reviews, and skill development planning.

Process, Quality & Best Practices

Implement and enforce SDLC, ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and PMO best practices.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, lessons learned, and metrics.

Establish and monitor KPIs for delivery, quality, and operational efficiency.

Risk, Governance & Financial Management

Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans proactively.

Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.

Ensure proper documentation, audit readiness, and governance compliance.

Operations & Support Oversight

Oversee transition from project delivery to operations and support.

Ensure system stability, performance, and SLAs post go-live.

Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities.


 

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred.

Experience :

12 + years

Mandatory/requires Skills :
Experience delivering large-scale or business-critical IT projects.

Preferred Skills :

Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

High ownership mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

Additional Information

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies.

Familiarity with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and integration architectures.

Experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Leadership & Soft Skills

Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
