**Description:**
We’re looking for an individual who embodies the luxury lifestyle experience. An ideal Andaz Savannah team member will have a passion for exceptional hotel service and will be able to express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity. The perfect candidate should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar.
+ Ordering, receiving, inventories, organizing and selling of all offered beverages
+ Extensive cost management experience required
+ Oversee beverage training, classes, pre-shifts, and other continuing educational items
+ Assist team members and guests during service with beverage recommendations and selection for the perfect pairing for their food or general experience
+ Handles multiple priorities, works under stress and exercises good judgment when dealing with all guest and internal situations
+ Ensures that guests receive excellent service at all times
+ Ensures that health and safety standards and procedures are respected
+ Understands how to anticipate and deliver customer needs and must demonstrate a true passion for luxury service
+ Identify and implement creative logistical solutions when needed
+ Work with Food & Beverage Manager to manage Beverage Partnerships and Programs, including Core Beverage Corporate Compliance
+ Works with vendors to cultivate unique and cost effective menus
+ Oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel
+ Works with Programming/Sales department when needed for any beverage sponsorship needs
+ Works with the Sales team with beverage selections and service during events
+ Works with marketing, social media, and PR to drive revenue and create interest
+ Ensures that company standards with regards to service are followed at all times
+ Performs duties that require organization, speed, and efficiency
+ Assist in other areas of the restaurant and hotel when needed
+ Assist in vetting and hiring of new employees
+ Writes all bar schedules
**Qualifications:**
+ A strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, menu development, and food and beverage pairings
+ Solid understanding of pricing, budgets and cost controls
+ Ability to train and develop team members
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
+ Excellent organizational and analytical skills
+ Computer skills including POS, Micros, and reservation software a plus, as well as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
+ Must have and maintain a professional appearance for the luxury market
+ Must be knowledgeable in the delivery of luxury service
+ Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
+ Bilingual a plus
