Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK. Administers the overall activities of the venue’s operation on assigned shift.Establishes and administers training programs within the assigned venues.Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties.Direct the development and administration of controls for all phases of the venue in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards.Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.Supervises staff on shift and ensures proper staffing levels in order to provide high standards of service with minimum labor hours.Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated.Monitors appearance of food served and communicates deviations from standard.Performs assigned input work in compiling annual budgets.Service standards used to measure success include, turnover rate, high staff morale, labor cost in line with budget and cleanliness of venue.Ensure team members to clean their areas as they perform their duties and assist with cleaning in other areas.Cross-train those within your department while encouraging, reinforcing, and supporting your peers and team. College degree or equivalent work experienceTwo years direct management experience Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak EnglishStrong working knowledge in the food and beverage industry; restaurant, bar, or banquets.Ability to maintain responsible alcohol service certificationAbility to communicate via written and verbal formatsAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and team membersAbility to perform basic math skillsAbility to perform statistical analysesAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situationsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to work all shifts and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods of timePhysical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
