Job Description

Are you passionate about creating safe workplaces and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, hands-on industry? Join our team as a Health & Safety Specialist and play a key role in protecting our people, our fleet, and our business.

We’re looking for a safety leader who can build strong relationships, provide training, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

Develop, implement, and promote safety programs across all locations.Conduct facility and fleet safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Lead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.Train and engage employees in OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat safety requirements.Maintain driver qualification files, permits, and fleet compliance records.Monitor and enforce DOT/FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service.

Partner with management to identify risks, track safety performance, and drive 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of health & safety or DOT compliance experience (transportation or manufacturing industry preferred).Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, and environmental regulations.Proven experience in safety audits, training, and incident investigations.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance software (e.g., TenStreet).Ability to travel regularly between retail and retread facilities.Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
