YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Berkeley North America Production Human Resources People Partner Site Lead are to:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to serve as a trusted advisor to the site leadership team, embodying and stewarding our company culture while fostering employee engagement and championing inclusion. This role will primarily support the Berkley site but will also lead initiatives across multiple divisions and locations within the Agile Pods.
Strategic Partnership and Leadership Development: Leverage your extensive experience to co-create and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with site priorities and the global/regional framework. Provide valuable insights into global workforce planning, ensuring that the site’s unique needs are met.Safety and Well-being Advocacy: Utilize your expertise to drive HR initiatives that enhance the safety, health, and attractiveness of the site, ensuring a supportive and productive work environment.Labor Strategy and Implementation: Contribute to the development and execution of labor strategies, goals, and policies, drawing on your deep understanding of industry best practices to guide implementation.Advisory and Coaching Role: Advise and coach site leadership team members and critical positions to enhance their capabilities and competitiveness. Utilize your leadership experience to improve decision-making processes and drive organizational effectiveness.Talent Insight and Recommendations: Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Site Head and Regional VP regarding SLT talent and staffing, maximizing site performance through effective talent management.Cultural Alignment in People Strategy: Develop and execute a tailored people strategy in partnership with the Site Leadership Team, integrating global and regional enablers with site-specific cultural elements to enhance employee engagement.Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices: Actively share best practices with global/regional partners and the HR community, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Consultative Perspective: Bring an outside-in consultative perspective to challenge the status quo, enriching solution development with diverse insights based on market trends. Operate at an enterprise level considering implications broader than the site.Project Leadership and Transformation Initiatives: Lead and participate in large and complex projects and transformation initiatives, collaborating with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and HR Expert Areas to create adaptive solutions in response to evolving business needs.
Talent Management Expertise:
Inclusive Talent Development: Identify and implement talent management strategies that foster an inclusive mindset, accelerating the development of top talent pools for leadership roles and ensuring succession planning for critical positions.Transformative Leadership Activation: Enable transformative leadership behaviors that inspire and engage employees, driving the business transformation forward.
Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition:
Strategic Workforce Planning: Apply your expertise to steer strategic workforce plans, proactively anticipating market developments and providing actionable insights to ensure alignment with business strategies.Talent Acquisition Strategy Development: Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that attracts top talent, building a world-class organization that meets the site’s needs.Performance Assessment Guidance: Guide leaders in assessing talent against performance requirements, fostering a culture of high performance through a strategic approach to talent management.
Reorganization and Employee Relations:
Site Reorganization Leadership: Take full accountability for steering and implementing site reorganizations in alignment with business strategy, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.Sustainable Employee Relations: Partner with the Employee Relations team to ensure sustainable employee relations practices, compliance with employment legislation, and the promotion of a healthy workplace culture. Lead positive employee relations initiatives and ensure compliance with local labor laws.

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
English language fluency;Knowledge and experience in state and federal labor laws and compliance;Team-oriented leadership skills;Understanding of complex business issues and strategies;Understanding of financial impacts derived from HR decisions and policies Strong collaboration / partnering skills & influencing skills / courage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or HR experience; experience in different HR functions advantageous.Union experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $136,936 to $205,405. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
