Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Fabricator to join a dynamic team. In this role, the Rebar Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and specifications to accurately measure, cut, bend, and assemble rebar according to project requirements. The Rebar Fabricator will work alongside other Bent Bar Fabricators to load molds into the oven. After the product has finished in the oven, the Rebar Fabricator will remove the molds, inspect the product, and package the parts in the shipping bag.
The role requires the operation of specialized hand tools to assemble rebar according to project specifications. Safety is a top priority, and the Rebar Fabricator is expected to strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. A clean and organized workspace must be maintained, with regular equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning. Any issues or malfunctions should be promptly reported to supervisors.
What we are looking for:
Motivated, hard-working, and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Bent Bar Fabricator in the production Facility.
Wage: $19/Hr.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Time: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
Location: Woodbridge
Responsibilities:
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine bent bar requirements.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble bars according to project specifications.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
• Collaborate with supervisors to resolve fabrication issues promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fabrication equipment.
• Fill out the appropriate shipping tags
• Follows the rules and procedures set out by MST Rebar Inc.
• Any other duties as directed by their supervisor
Requirements:
• Must be able to stand and walk between the puller and the oven
• Must be able to lift between 20 and 40 lbs as required during their shift
• Must be able to kneel, stoop, squat and to stretch to fulfill tasks
• Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate and assemble very large and extremely
small components
• Requires grasping, pulling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing ability and visual acuity
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials regularly.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Work Environment:
• Growing production facility
• Mandatory PPE (Steel toed safety shoes, safety glasses) while inside the facility
