Description Overview: Robert Half is partnering with a well-established company in the City of Industry to find a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in benefits administration, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring employees receive accurate and timely benefits support. Key Responsibilities: + Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA/HSA, 401(k), leave of absence, and COBRA. + Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly. + Coordinate open enrollment processes, including system updates, employee communication, and benefit elections. + Liaise with third-party benefit vendors and insurance carriers to ensure accurate plan administration. + Maintain and update benefits records in HRIS and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies. + Support HR with audits, compliance filings (e.g., 1095-C, ACA), and benefits-related reporting. + Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, specifically regarding benefits orientation and termination of coverage. + Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations related to employee benefits. Requirements Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role. + Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.). + Experience using HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar platforms). + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
